Part-Time Property Manager

The Jonnycake Center for Hope is seeking a dependable, organized, and community-minded individual to serve as a Part-Time Property Manager overseeing the Center's residential rental units, main facility, and youth center spaces. This position plays an important role in ensuring that our properties remain safe, welcoming, well-maintained, and responsive to the needs of tenants, youth, staff, and community members. Position Overview The Property Manager will coordinate the day-to-day management and upkeep of: Ten residential rental units The Jonnycake Center's main building The Jonnycake Youth Center This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with tenants, contractors, staff, and community partners. Responsibilities Coordinate maintenance and repairs for all facilities and rental units Conduct regular property inspections and identify maintenance needs Serve as the primary point of contact for tenants regarding property-related concerns Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and service providers Monitor building safety, cleanliness, and compliance requirements Assist with unit turnovers, inspections, and basic documentation Help oversee preventative maintenance schedules Support facility needs related to youth programming and community events Maintain organized records of repairs, service requests, and property activities Respond to occasional urgent property issues as needed Qualifications Experience in property management, facilities management, maintenance coordination, or related fields preferred Strong organizational and communication skills Ability to work independently and problem-solve effectively Comfortable coordinating multiple projects and priorities Basic knowledge of building systems and maintenance practices helpful Commitment to professionalism and community service Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required Schedule & Compensation Part-time position with flexible scheduling Some evening or occasional weekend availability may be required Compensation commensurate with experience About the Jonnycake Center The Jonnycake Center for Hope is a nonprofit organization dedicated to strengthening the lives of individuals and families through food, housing, education, employment support, and youth programming throughout southern Rhode Island.

$30.00 - $40.00 per hour
