As the Part-Time Receptionist, you'll be the friendly first impression for visitors, callers, and staff while playing a key role in day-to-day office operations. This part-time, in-office opportunity offers a steady schedule, a supportive environment, and the chance to learn from a team that genuinely enjoys working together. As Part-Time Receptionist, you'll operate a multi-line telephone system to answer and route calls, provide general information, and schedule appointments. You'll need to have efficacious communication skills here, as you'll greet visitors upon arrival, determine the purpose of their visit, and direct or escort them to their appropriate destination. You'll also maintain and update appointment calendars, keep accurate records of contacts, and ensure visitors feel welcomed and assisted promptly. In this role, you'll need to be highly personable, professional, and comfortable interacting with a wide range of people. Additional responsibilities include providing administrative support such as proofreading and working with basic computer systems. You'll need to be highly organized, as you'll receive and record payments for services, manage incoming and outgoing mail, and transmit documents using a computer and other office equipment. You'll help maintain an organized and professional reception area, track staff availability, and assist with scheduling space for equipment for special programs, along with other related duties as assigned. This is an on-site, temp-to-hire role, where the right person can transfer into a permanent position after a little over three months.Your New Organization:
