Job Description

Catch the Wave Swim Club is hiring two part-time Receptionist / Family Support Specialists. The biggest thing we are looking for is personality. We want someone who is high-energy, positive, friendly, fun, and great with people. When a family calls Catch the Wave, we want them to feel like they are talking to someone who genuinely cares, knows how to help, and makes their day better. This is not a traditional receptionist role where you simply sit at a front desk and greet people. While you may occasionally assist families in person, this role is mainly about being the behind-the-scenes family support expert who helps keep everything running smoothly. Because this is not a traditional reception role, reception experience is not required. Experience can be helpful, but we are much more interested in finding the right personality — someone who is warm, upbeat, reliable, and great at connecting with people. Our aquatics team focuses on teaching in the water. Your role is to help families with the details outside the water — scheduling, billing, class questions, new customer sign-ups, account updates, and general support. WHAT YOU'll DO In this role, you will help families by: Answering phone calls, emails, and parent questions Helping new customers get signed up for lessons Assisting families with scheduling, class changes, absences, and makeups Helping parents find the right class options for their child Managing billing questions, payments, and past-due balances Keeping family accounts organized and updated Supporting the aquatics team with administrative needs Solving problems in a calm, positive, and helpful way Making every family interaction feel friendly, clear, and cared for
WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR

We can train the systems, processes, and details. What we cannot train as easily is personality, attitude, energy, and the ability to make people feel genuinely cared for.
AVAILABLE HOURS
We are hiring two part-time team members to help cover the following available hours: Monday•
Thursday:
12:00 PM•7:15
PM Friday:
9:00 AM•1:15
PM Saturday:
9:00 AM•1:15
PM Sunday:
9:00 AM•1:15 PM Total available hours are approximately 37.5 hours per week , split between two part-time team members. Applicants do not need to be available for every shift, but afternoon, evening, and weekend availability is strongly preferred.

You help parents feel supported, you help new families get started, and you help our aquatics team stay focused on the kids in the water. From $15.00 per hour
