Part-Time Security Officer - Oral Surgery Practice Our local, two-doctor oral surgery practice is seeking a professional, observant, and composed Security Officer to join our team part-time. The ideal candidate will provide a reassuring presence for our patients and staff, ensuring a safe and calm clinical environment.

Schedule Days:

Friday Hours:

8:00 AM - 12:00 PM (20 hours/week)

Key Responsibilities Safety & Presence:

Maintain a visible and professional presence in the office to deter potential issues and ensure the safety of doctors, staff, and patients.

De-escalation:

Utilize strong communication skills to manage and de-escalate stressful or emotional situations, keeping the office atmosphere calm and professional.

Conflict Intervention:

Act decisively to manage aggressive behavior if it arises, i ncluding the ability to safely restrain individuals as a last resort to protect others.

Monitoring:

Keep a watchful eye on the waiting area and entry points to ensure only authorized individuals are present. Qualifications Proven experience in security, law enforcement, or a similar role requiring high-level situational awareness. Exceptional interpersonal and verbal de-escalation skills. Physical capability to perform necessary interventions or restraints if required. Reliable, punctual, and capable of maintaining a professional demeanor in a healthcare setting.

Pay:

$18.00 - $22.00 per hour
