Overview:
As a growing 501 c) (3 Non-profit organization, CRCI is always looking for new talented individuals who can be an addition to its efforts. It is CRCI's Management's desire that each person involved with the organization (paid or not paid) has a burden for the lost, the sick, and the suffering. It is also important that all staff recognize that they represent CRCI and their actions will affect the community's outlook upon it. Staff are a representation of the CRCI program, and it is expected for them to conduct themselves in a manner that would always promote and elevate the image of CRCI to the community. Any behavior that promotes a negative image of the organization is unacceptable.JOB SUMMARY
Ensure smooth, professional, and efficient store operations, and always strive to increase income for the store. The Pricer is primarily responsible for the processing, pricing, and preparation of all saleable items for the thrift enterprises.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Accepts, sorts, and processes donated items, identifying quality merchandise suitable for sale. Determines pricing based on item condition, quality, style, and estimated original value, with a focus on maximizing store revenue. Prepares and distributes in-kind donation receipts as needed. Prices, tags, and displays merchandise according to established merchandising standards. Provides customer service support, including operating the cash register and assisting customers and donors as needed. Helps maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing store and surrounding areas throughout the day. Models respectful and professional interactions with staff, volunteers, customers, and donors. Stays informed on current merchandising and display best practices and participates in staff meetings and training as required. Assists with end-of-day procedures, including returning unpaid merchandise to the sales floor, organizing displays, and ensuring the store is clean, orderly, and ready for the next business day. Provides support to other office or community services as requested by the Thrift Store Manager.Pay:
