Jul 1, 2026 Job Description Metcalf Elementary School is seeking a caring, dependable, and student-centered Part-Time Title I Reading Aide to support elementary students in developing foundational reading skills. This position works closely with classroom teachers and intervention staff to provide targeted reading support to students in small-group and individual settings. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required Experience working with children or in a school setting preferred Ideal candidates will have: Experience teaching or supporting reading instruction Knowledge of early literacy development Training in LETRS and/or the Science of Reading Strong communication and teamwork skills Patience, flexibility, and a passion for helping students succeed Responsibilities Support students in reading intervention groups under the direction of certified staff Assist with implementing reading activities and instructional strategies Help monitor student progress and maintain instructional materials Foster a positive, encouraging learning environment Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times Other duties as assigned Schedule Part-time position 8:00 AM to 2:30 PM School-year calendar Interested applicants should submit an application through the district office employment portal.
