Job Description
Overview Please note that this job is an afternoon position. This is a closing position hours are12 pm to 6pm. Join our vibrant early childhood education team as a Part Time Toddler Instructor, where your enthusiasm and dedication will inspire young learners to explore, discover, and grow! In this dynamic role, you'll create a nurturing and engaging environment tailored specifically for toddlers, fostering their social, emotional, and developmental skills. Your passion for working with young children will help lay the foundation for their lifelong love of learning while ensuring a safe and supportive classroom experience. This paid position offers flexible hours perfect for those eager to make a meaningful impact in early childhood education. Hours are afternoon hours. Duties Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development in toddlers Foster a warm, welcoming classroom environment that encourages curiosity and independence Monitor and support children's behaviors using positive behavior management techniques Ensure the safety and well-being of all children by adhering to health and safety protocols, including first aid procedures when necessary Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about their child's progress and daily experiences Maintain organized classroom records related to children's development and activities Collaborate with team members to create inclusive lesson plans that accommodate children with diverse needs or disabilities Experience Prior experience working with young children in settings such as daycare, preschool, nannying, babysitting, or early childhood education programs Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices for toddler care Classroom management skills to effectively oversee a group of energetic toddlers Familiarity with special education strategies and working with children with disabilities is a plus Certification or training in first aid and CPR is highly desirable Experience in behavior management techniques suitable for early learners Background in childcare, infant care, or working with students in educational environments This role is ideal for passionate individuals committed to nurturing the growth of young children through engaging activities and compassionate care.
