Job Description

Overview As a Universal Banker at Cowboy First Bank, you'll be at the heart of our customer experience—serving as both a Teller and Customer Service Representative (CSR) when needed. This all-encompassing role offers variety, responsibility, and the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our customers. You'll provide exceptional service, handle daily transactions, open and maintain accounts, and help customers find financial solutions that fit their goals—all while representing the integrity and hometown values Cowboy First Bank is known for. What You'll Do Provide friendly, professional service to every customer; whether handling teller transactions or opening new accounts. Assist customers with deposits, withdrawals, payments, transfers, and account inquiries. Open and service personal and business deposit accounts, CDs, IRAs, and other banking products. Promote and cross-sell additional services, including online banking, debit cards, loans, and other financial solutions. Process and maintain accurate records of all cash transactions and account activity. Detect and help prevent fraud by identifying suspicious activity. Support branch operations by assisting with daily balancing, reporting, and internal controls. Build and maintain meaningful customer relationships that foster trust and loyalty. Basic Qualifications Strong mathematical and cash-handling skills. Excellent communication and customer service abilities. Attention to detail and accuracy in all transactions. Prior experience in banking, financial services, or customer service preferred. Preferred Qualifications Background in financial sales, customer relationship management, or deposit operations. Familiarity with bank software systems and fraud prevention techniques. Strong computer and typing skills (including 10-key proficiency).
