Job Description
Part Time Wine Educator, Far Niente Wine Estates Far Niente Winery Far Niente Wine Estates | Napa Valley, CA At Far Niente Wine Estates, we don't just make wine—we craft experiences rooted in heritage, excellence, and connection. Founded in 1885 and restored to its iconic stature in 1979, Far Niente is a benchmark producer of Napa Valley Chardonnay and Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon—and a leader in luxury wine. As our portfolio continues to grow, we're expanding our team with a Part Time Wine Educator that will act as an ambassador for Far Niente Wine Estates, promoting its strong heritage, luxury wines, and exceptional hospitality. This position supports the estate on weekends, with weekday and event flexibility into evenings when needed. You will be successful in this role while performing these essential responsibilities:
- Build new and retain existing ambassadors through customer engagement, customer follow-up and by providing outstanding hospitality with all customer interactions.
- Achieve or exceed department goals by utilizing strategic selling skills to encourage membership and through assisting customers with purchases.
- Conduct informative tasting experiences including guided tours with ability to display and convey knowledge of wine and the stories of our wineries.
- Ability to work non-traditional business hours including some evenings and weekends. Our organizational culture is built upon a strong foundation of shared commitments:

- Demonstrates pride in their work while striving for excellence. You will be qualified for this role if you met these requirements:
- 2 + years' retail customer service experience required.
- Goal orientated and able to work as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Point of Sales (POS) systems and basic computer skills preferred.
- Ability to communicate effectively in the predominately used language. Strong communication skills.
- Ability to lift to 40 lbs.
- Ability to stand, ascend and descend stairs.
