Job Overview Would you like to join our team at H.O.P.E.? Currently, we are looking to hire a part time thrift store associate in our household section for 10 hours a week, with the potential for more hours in the future, to help us provide the excellent customer service and friendly shopping experience our customers know and love. Our non-profit thrift store operates strictly by community donation and offers an eclectic variety of items at budget friendly prices. Required Skills and Competencies Basic knowledge of retail operations and customer service principles. Experience in sorting, and pricing donations, focusing on household items, or the willingness to learn. Ability to organize and display household items in an appealing manner to maximize sales. Soft Skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Ability to work effectively in a team environment. Ensure the store is clean, organized, and safe for customers and staff.

Qualifications Education:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Experience:

Previous retail or customer service experience is a plus. Working Conditions This role is based in Lyndonville, VT, with standard working hours. Occasional Saturday shifts may be required.
