Part to full time residential remodeling and repair

Overview Join our small remodeling business where your energy and hands-on skills will contribute to exciting remodeling projects. This role offers an opportunity to gain experience in remodeling while working on diverse tasks. As a team member, you'll be actively involved in various aspects of construction work, supporting skilled trades and ensuring safety and quality on-site. This paid position is perfect for individuals eager to learn and grow within the construction field. This is a part time seasonal position. Number of hours will flucuate, based on pending open remodeling jobs to complete. Duties Assist with general construction tasks such as material handling, site cleanup, and setup of work areas Operate hand tools and power tools safely to support carpentry activities Support skilled tradespeople with tasks like drywall installation, finishing of new or repaired area, paint. Help with the installation of doors, cabinets, windows, and trim carpentry Conduct basic inspections of work sites at end of day to ensure safety protocols are followed, all tools have been put away and work quality standards are met. Skills Proficiency with hand tools, power tools (will train if needed) Willing to learn construction safety procedures and site inspection practices Skills in plumbing, electrical work, or restoration are advantageous, but not required Ability to perform tasks involving drywall work, painting and landscaping (will train if needed) Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive attitude toward learning new techniques and safety standards Must be able to read a tape measure (Required) This role is designed for energetic individuals ready to contribute actively on-site while developing or enhancing their skills.
