Part/Full Time Bus Driver

is a public transportation company serving Rusk County and the City of Ladysmith for over 40 years. Looking for responsible and safe-minded driver . Must have the ability to work in a team atmosphere. We have a complete and thorough in-house training program. Must be willing to DRIVE on alternating weeknights, city door-to-door and rural route services. •

Weekday Hours of Operation:

6:00 am to 6:00 pm•

Sunday Shift:

8:00 am to 12:00pm (with additional paid incentives)

Pay Schedule :

$ 15.00 per hour for Class D license Incentive program, scheduled wage increases if performance benchmarks are met The right candidate will need: Clean driving record (last 5 yrs.) Good customer service skills Pass a background check, sex offender search Must be at least 21 yrs of age Must pass a pre-employment drug test and agree to be on the drug and alcohol random testing program while employed On the Job Training can include: Pre & Post trip vehicle inspections on a computer tablet Operation of a computer tablet for rider locations for pick-ups and drops Operation of a on-board wheelchair lift system Operation of a commercial radio Passenger safety and sensitivity Defensive driving techniques Physical Demands Ability to assist passengers in wheelchairs on and off the bus Ability to assist with carrying groceries on and off the bus Ability to bend to secure a wheelchair by using an in-floor securement system
