Parts Advisor

Aftermarket/Service Manager SUMMARY:
The Parts Advisor serves as a vital link between our customers and our technical operations, ensuring the seamless delivery of aftermarket components for high-level automation and robotic equipment. This role is responsible for the full cycle of a parts order, from initial inquiry and technical identification to quoting, order processing, and coordinating outbound freight. The ideal candidate combines strong technical aptitude with exceptional communication skills to troubleshoot customer needs, manage RMAs and collaborate across production and service teams to maintain peak equipment uptime for our clients.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Process aftermarket parts orders accurately and efficiently within intrnal systems Prepare and follow up on customer quotes based on pricing, availability, and lead times Process orders including pulling parts, processing work orders, and quoting additional parts if needed. Process Returns Serve as a primary point of contact for customers via phone and email Respond to customer inquiries related to order status, product details, pricing and delivery timelines. Schedule and coordinate outbound outbound shipments Collaborate with the production team, purchasing team, and service techs on the road as needed. Troubleshoot and resolve customer issues, and escalating to management when necessary
QUALIFICATION AND SKILLS
Experience:
Minimum 1-2 years of experience in customer service or customer facing role.
Technical Aptitude:
Capable to process aftermarket orders for automation equipment, understands different mechanical/electrical compenents.
Problem-Solving:
A hands on approach to customer service and technical parts orders.
Communication:
Exceptional verbal and written skills, ability to de-escalate frustrated customers and lead internal teams effectively. Working knowledge of ERP or inventory management systems (or willingness to learn)
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIORNMENT
Primarily office based with extended periods of sitting and computer work Occasional walking on the manufacturing to observe processes or meet with team Ability to lift/move items - up 75 lbs occasionally
