Parts Counter Associate

Responsibilities Greet customers warmly, listen attentively to their needs, and recommend appropriate parts or accessories with confidence. Maintain accurate inventory control by stocking, organizing, and tracking parts using inventory management systems such as CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) and POS (Point of Sale) platforms. Assist customers with order fulfillment, including processing sales transactions, cash handling, and issuing receipts with professionalism. Collaborate with the service team to identify parts requirements for equipment repairs and maintenance. Manage phone inquiries efficiently, providing clear communication about parts availability and pricing while demonstrating excellent phone etiquette. Support dealership marketing efforts by promoting special offers or new product lines to customers. Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the parts department to facilitate quick access and efficient workflow. Requirements Previous experience in Ag equipment repair, automotive service, or dealership environments is highly preferred. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage inventory control and stock replenishment accurately. Excellent communication skills in multiple languages are a plus; bilingual abilities are highly valued. Familiarity with equipment diagnostics, equipment maintenance procedures, and equipment repair terminology. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or similar software for inventory tracking and retail math calculations. Experience with POS systems, retail sales processes, cash handling, and cashiering duties. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Knowledge of dealership sales management practices and marketing strategies is advantageous.
