We are looking for ambitious, goal-oriented Parts Manager to join our team. This position is responsible for managing an efficient and profitable Parts Department. Primary objectives include ensuring customer satisfaction and retention, ensuring the correct part is available the first visit, controlling costs, merchandising, maintaining good employee relationships, and maintaining department records. Job Responsibilities Oversee efficient parts processes for internal and external customers, ensuring timely fulfillment and compliance with dealership standards. Establish and achieve parts sales objectives by maintaining accurate inventory levels, coordinating with vendors for discounts, and managing purchase orders, returns, and warranty claims. Train, mentor, and maintain effective training standards for parts personnel to improve customer service, sales skills, and warehouse operations. Prepare and evaluate monthly and annual sales plans, forecasts, and department performance metrics to meet both short- and long-term objectives. Implement merchandising strategies, resolve department issues, and collaborate with vendors to address shipping delays and discrepancies. Monitor the customer base, recommend strategies to attract new clients, and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction. Qualifications Strong leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to train and mentor others Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail for managing inventory and documentation Strong communication and interpersonal skills for working with customers, staff, and vendors Ability to problem-solve and make decisions in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environmentRequirements:
Education and Experience Previous parts, inventory, or warehouse management experience required - dealership environment preferred Familiarity with dealership management systems and parts software is an advantage High school diploma or GED required - additional business coursework preferred Benefits Medical, dental, and vision insurance 401K with company match PTO Great company culture Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
