Job Description

We are growing our team and actively seeking a Parts Specialist! The Parts Specialist plays a key role in driving company success by helping customers identify and purchase the right parts for their needs. This position involves researching parts solutions, providing outstanding customer service, and communicating effectively to maximize sales and enhance customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Provides exceptional customer service by assisting customers via phone and email to locate needed parts using in-house software in a timely and efficient manner, helping to minimize customer downtime. Also offers technical advice as needed to meet customer needs. Accurately enters data into database system for billing and inventory purposes. Assists sales staff with parts ordering, researching and tracking parts using in-house software. Investigates and manages customer complaints in a professional and diplomatic manner ensuring timely resolution according to company guidelines. Assists warehouse in times of need with pulling, filling, stocking and shipping customer orders. Qualifications/Requirements Minimum of 2 years of parts sales for heavy equipment industry (skid steer, bulldozer, excavators, tractors, attachments, etc.) and customer service-related experience required. Knowledge of heavy equipment/construction equipment is preferred. Extremely organized with excellent written and oral communication skills. Associate Degree is preferred. Mechanical aptitude required. Ability to provide exceptional customer service to ensure high customer satisfaction and instill customer confidence. Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical personnel. Ability to pass certification and operate a forklift. Skills in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel and Outlook. Soft skills Demonstrates high emotional intelligence (EQ), including self-awareness, empathy, and the ability to navigate complex interpersonal and customer interactions. Proven ability to read situations, adapt communication style, manage conflict constructively, and build trust with customers and company leadership. Open-minded with a proactive attitude toward learning, continuous improvement, and adapting to new challenges, demonstrates a willingness to learn, grow, and continuously improve both technical knowledge and commercial effectiveness Strong listening skills with the ability to understand customer needs and internal feedback and translate them into effective actions. Strong willingness to be part of a winning team, actively contributing and collaborating as a committed team member rather than operating independently.
Pay:
Hourly $24•25 + Commission on sales.
Work Environment :
Office, with occasional warehouse, and service support. Occasional overtime to meet customer needs. Customer-driven with a team success focus.
