Passionate Caregiver

Job Overview We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to join our team. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to individuals in various settings, including assisted living facilities, group homes, and private residences. Your responsibilities will include assisting clients with daily living activities, ensuring their safety and comfort, and promoting their overall well-being. Duties Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation. Provide patient care by monitoring vital signs and observing changes in health status. Support individuals with disabilities, including those with developmental disabilities, autism, Alzheimer's disease, and dementia. Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping duties. Prepare nutritious meals according to dietary guidelines and client preferences. Administer medications as prescribed and assist with care plans. Utilize equipment such as Hoyer lifts for safe patient transfers when necessary. Engage clients in social activities to enhance their quality of life. Document care provided and communicate effectively with healthcare professionals regarding patient needs. Requirements Previous experience in caregiving or related fields such as home health, hospice care, or long-term care is preferred. Knowledge of first aid and CPR certification is a plus. Familiarity with HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality. Strong skills in patient observation and monitoring for any changes in condition. Ability to perform heavy lifting when assisting clients with mobility needs. Excellent communication skills and a compassionate demeanor towards clients. Experience working with individuals who have developmental disabilities or memory care needs is highly desirable.
