Overview We are seeking a passionate and talented Pastry Chef to join our dynamic culinary team. Duties Prepare a variety of pastries, cakes, and desserts with attention to detail and presentation excellence Decorate cakes and pastries using advanced cake decorating techniques to create visually stunning treats Package baked goods efficiently for retail display or catering orders, maintaining freshness and quality Assist in food production and food preparation processes, ensuring consistency and adherence to safety standards Handle food safely by following proper food handling procedures and maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen Contribute to catering events by preparing baked goods and desserts that meet client specifications Support kitchen operations by managing ingredient inventory, organizing supplies, and maintaining equipment Skills Extensive pastry experience with proficiency in baking, cake decorating, and food presentation Strong knife skills coupled with knowledge of food handling safety protocols Experience in food production, food preparation, and kitchen operations within the food industry or restaurant setting Excellent customer service skills to engage with guests and understand their preferences Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high standards of culinary quality Knowledge of packaging techniques suitable for retail or catering environments Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in a professional kitchen environment Join us to unleash your culinary creativity in a lively atmosphere where your skills will shine!
