- Job Summary and Qualifications
- What qualifications you will need:
- As a Patient Access Registrar you will be responsible for timely and accurate patient registration.
In this role:
- + •You will interview patients for all pertinent account information and verifies insurance coverage, ensuring charts are completed and accurate.
- + •You will verify all insurance and obtain precertification/authorization.
- + •You will calculate and collect patient liable amounts, ensuring that all necessary signatures are obtained for treatments.
- + •You will process patient charts according to paperwork flow needs and established productivity standards.
- + •You will interview incoming patients, his/her relatives, or other responsible individuals to obtain identifying and biographical information with insurance and financial information.
Qualifications:
- + •Prefer one year of registration experience.
- + •Knowledge of Medical Terminology.
- Knowledge of Anatomy. Effective Communication and Computer Skills
