Patient Access Representative

Gove County Medical Center (GCMC) is seeking a dedicated Patient Access Representative to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our patients, ensuring a smooth and professional registration process.

Key Responsibilities:

Complete patient registrations by accurately entering demographic and insurance information. Provide exceptional customer service and assist patients with the financial counselor as needed. Assist with bedside registrations in the Emergency Department. Operate the phone and paging system in a professional manner. Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA and patient confidentiality regulations.

Qualifications:

Required:

High school diploma (or equivalent) and experience in public relations.

Preferred:

Prior experience in a medical office setting. Must be able to work independently, demonstrate personal integrity, and interact effectively with patients and staff.
