Patient Account Representative:

• Must be able to perform essential job duties in at least two Patient Access service areas including ED.
• Verifies insurance, benefits, coverage & eligibility, completes assigned registration financial clearance work lists activities, obtains insurance authorizations for scheduled & unscheduled Hospital services, and secures inpatient visit notification to payors.

Patient Account Representative:

• High School Diploma or GED
• 6+ months medical claims and or hospital collections and follow up experience
• Thorough understanding of the revenue cycle process, from patient access (authorization, admissions) through Patient Financial Services (billing, insurance appeals, collections) procedures and policies Benefits for
