About Our Client:
Addison Group is partnering with a busy specialty medical clinic seeking a Patient Access Representative to support front desk operations. This role is ideal for someone with strong customer service skills who enjoys working in a fast-paced clinic environment and interacting with patients throughout the day.
Job Description:
The Patient Access Representative will manage daily front desk operations including patient check-in/check-out, appointment scheduling, insurance intake, and payment collection. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle a high patient volume while maintaining excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
Check patients in and out for appointments. Schedule patient appointments and manage clinic calendars. Collect copays, balances, and other patient payments. Update patient demographics and insurance information in the system. Answer incoming phone calls and assist with patient inquiries. Review testing instructions and appointment details with patients. Assist patients with payment plans when applicable. Balance daily cash drawers and reconcile payments. Maintain accurate documentation and patient records. Support clinic operations in a high-volume environment (approximately 40 patients per day) .
Requirements:
2+ years of recent medical front desk or medical receptionist experience required. Experience scheduling appointments and managing patient intake. Knowledge of insurance verification and patient payment collection. Experience using EMR systems (eClinicalWorks preferred) . Strong communication and customer service skills. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinic environment. Stable work history preferred.
