Job Description
Individual will be responsible for the scheduling, registering, pre-registering, obtaining authorizations/pre-certs, and coordinating charge entry processing for the physician practice. This position will be responsible for answering inquires from patients and insurance companies in a professional manner.
QUALIFICATIONS
Educational and/orProfessional Qualifications:
1. High school diploma or GED preferred.Previous Experience:
A minimum of 6 months experience working in a business office, clinic, or hospital setting required. Insurance and collection experience is preferred.Other Special Training/Skills:
