Job Description

A Patient Care Coordinator (PCC) is responsible for ensuring outstanding delivery of office systems and processes in to order to create a positive patient experience. About NEO Orthopedic and Rehabilitation, LLC NEO Orthopedics and Rehabilitation provides Physical, Occupational, Speech and ABA Therapy services in settings including outpatient clinics, skilled nursing facilities and schools. Patient Care Coordinator (PCC)
POSITION SUMMARY
A Patient Care Coordinator (PCC) is responsible for ensuring outstanding delivery of office systems and processes in to order to create a positive patient experience. PCCs are also responsible for collecting all necessary information in order to assist therapists with effective and efficient evaluations and treatments. PCCs exhibit and prioritize the core values of

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
Collect detailed demographic and clinical information for the treating therapists, and billing personnel to be equipped with the information needed to provide an excellent service experience. Proficient in using Prompt to register patients and store all patient medical, financial and insurance data. Access patient's insurance to determine eligibility and benefits. Submit/update insurance authorizations, when applicable. Collect patient copays, co-insurance and deductibles at time of service. Schedule patients for services. Submit medical records requests to authorized agencies, when requested. Communicate clearly and effectively with both patients and staff. Demonstrates effective time management. Complies with quality improvement standards. Exhibits the Core Values of NEO Orthopedics & Rehabilitation.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Basic understanding of the therapy services we provide (PT, OT, ST, and ABA) Basic computer knowledge Basic insurance terminology Attention to detail and accuracy Basic math computing/calculating skills Ability to work with a team
EDUCATION REQUIRED
High School Diploma Bilingual in English and Spanish strongly preferred.
