Bilingual English/Spanish Join a Practice That Cares Deeply About the Families It Serves Inland Lactation and Inland Maternity Center is a busy, mission-driven practice supporting new parents through one of the most tender chapters of their lives. We're looking for a warm, organized, and steady Patient Coordinator to be the welcoming face of our front desk and the operational backbone that keeps our clinic running smoothly. If you genuinely light up around new parents and babies, take pride in a calm and well-run space, and have the kind of attention to detail that catches a missing intake form before it becomes a problem

  • all day, every day. Some appointments are joyful. Some are heartbreaking. You may need to comfort a mom who's just been told her supply is dropping while answering a ringing phone and checking in another patient at the same time. What You'll Do Be the welcoming presence our patients remember. Greet families warmly, check patients in and out, room them for their appointments, and keep the waiting area clean, calm, and inviting. Refill snacks and beverages, process in-clinic product purchases, and make every family feel cared for from the moment they arrive. Keep the schedule humming. Book, reschedule, and confirm appointments. Answer calls and texts promptly. Coordinate provider schedules to balance availability and patient flow. Send appointment reminders and follow-ups. When a patient has an urgent need, triage and coordinate with our perinatal specialist to get them in sooner when clinically appropriate. Handle the paperwork that protects our patients. Input new patients into our charting system, verify insurance benefits and eligibility, confirm coverage on file is current at each visit, and make sure intake forms are completed before appointments

Support our providers and clinical space. Sterilize and put away supplies between patients, restock exam rooms and workstations, monitor inventory, and help providers stay on time. Keep an eye on patient messages to ensure providers are responding within expected timeframes. Solve problems before they grow. Navigate difficult moments with empathy and professionalism, escalate appropriately to clinical leadership, and anticipate issues before they snowball. What We're Looking For Required High school diploma or equivalent Comfort with insurance verification and basic medical billing concepts Strong written and verbal communication skills Proficiency with scheduling tools, email, and standard office software (we'll train you on our charting platform
  • no prior experience with it needed) Reliability, punctuality, and availability for the stated schedule, including occasional weekends Strongly Preferred Experience in a perinatal, OB/GYN, lactation, midwifery, pediatric, or women's health setting Bilingual (English/Spanish) The Right Fit Genuine warmth toward new parents and babies Calm under pressure
