Patient Safety Sitter - Perth Amboy -Emergency room- Full Time Evenings

Assists the professional nursing staff by providing direct observation of patients with behavioral changes. Maintains a safe environment and engages the patient in diversional activities. Reports any changes in patient behavior to the nurse.

Qualifications:

Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

High School diploma, general equivalency diploma (GED), and/or GED equivalent programs (or in progress).

Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Preferred:

Previous experience in a setting with direct patient contact.

Licenses and Certifications Required:

AHA Basic Health Care Life Support HCP Certification within 60 days of entering position.
