Job Description

Position Summary:
We are looking for an outgoing, enthusiastic, detail-oriented professional to join our team. As a Patient Service Representative at The NEW Dermatology Group, you will be a 'director of first impressions,' managing front desk operations at our two Upper Peninsula locations (Iron Mountain & Escanaba) and ensuring that all of our patients have an excellent experience at our clinics. 30-40 hours/week. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Responsible for greeting all patients upon arrival in a warm and welcoming manner Facilitating the registration process (checking in, verifying demographics and insurance, making any necessary changes, collecting co-payments/payments) Ability to handle confidential information and sensitive situations Accurately schedule appointments Answer phones promptly and courteously Demonstrate an understanding of our services Ability to follow our policies and procedures Along with effectively balancing this workload, our ideal candidate must be able to maintain a calm, friendly demeanor and a positive attitude Must be willing to travel to travel between Green Bay and Appleton Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Must have at least one year of medical reception and insurance experience Must be computer-literate with a basic knowledge of Microsoft Office software Must be a friendly and welcoming team player who is able to work well with others Must be able to prioritize and multi-task effectively.
Education/Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent, must have at least one year of medical reception and insurance experience, or equivalent experience.

Our clinics are a fast paced and somewhat noisy environment at times. All clinic staff (including Patient Service Representatives) wear scrubs.
