Patient Service Specialist

Description Greet and register patients and provide information about what to expect during their visit and information about their next appointment as they check out Schedule patient appointments in person and via phone Regular communication Collect co-pays from patients, manage payer approvals and conduct insurance authorizations and verifications Prepare patient intake forms prior to appointments to ensure timely service Verify insurance eligibility of patients to determine if services are covered, and obtain authorizations as needed. Provide counseling to patients advising them of their financial responsibility at time of service Achieve quality assurance goals Adhere to the established system of controls to secure and reconcile payments receive. Effectively communicate with all contacts as necessary to solve problems Skills insurance authorization, patient scheduling, customer service oriented Additional Skills & Qualifications Patient-centered mindset: Strong customer service skills Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Delaware, OH. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
