This position plays a key role in supporting human resources operations with a balanced focus on payroll processing and benefits administration. The individual will work closely with HR leadership and accounting to ensure accurate payroll execution while also assisting employees with benefit-related needs. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career professional looking to expand their experience in both functional areas.Key Responsibilities:
Assist with processing payroll, including reviewing timesheets, verifying hours, and ensuring accurate deductions and payments Maintain payroll records and help troubleshoot discrepancies in coordination with internal teams Support administration of employee benefits programs such as health plans, retirement accounts, and savings programs Guide employees through onboarding and benefits enrollment processes, including annual open enrollment Handle updates related to employee life events and ensure benefit records are current and accurate Serve as a point of contact for employee questions related to payroll, benefits, and HR processes Collaborate with HR and accounting on reporting, compliance, and administrative initiatives Maintain confidentiality and accuracy in all employee data and documentationQualifications:
1-3 years of experience in HR, benefits administration, and hands-on payroll processing Experience working with payroll systems and HRIS platforms (Paycom or similar preferred) Familiarity with benefits programs such asFSA, HSA, 401
(k), and insurance plans Strong attention to detail and ability to manage sensitive information Effective communication and organizational skills Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a professional environment Prior experience in a legal or professional services setting is a plusAdditional Details:
