Chatham, MA Apply I?m a 36-year-old quadriplegic manual wheelchair user with a spinal cord injury (SCI) who visits the Cape Cod area periodically and is looking for a reliable, compassionate PCA to assist with daily living activities during those stays.

Important note on schedule:

This is a per diem, as-needed role with a highly irregular schedule. Visits can range from a few days to several weeks, across any season, and are often decided on short notice. Ideal for someone local to the Cape seeking flexible supplemental work ? a stay-at-home parent, student, or anyone with an open and adaptable schedule.

What the role involves:

Meal prep and cooking Light cleaning and laundry Supply setup and maintenance Toileting, showering, and personal care assistance (training fully provided ? just need someone willing to help with these aspects of care) Stretching/range of motion assistance Occasional errands (shopping, pickups, etc.) Other ADL support to help me live independently Physical requirements: Mostly light duty. I transfer myself independently, so no heavy lifting is required. Cleaning and stretching assistance can be mildly physical.

Pay:

\$23.25-\$25.65/hr depending on Mass PCA program seniority and completion of New Hire Orientation. (Base rate plus complex care differential included.)

Location:

Chatham, MA. In-home with occasional local errands.

Live-in opportunity:

There may be a possibility of a longer-term live-in arrangement at the property - happy to discuss if that?s of interest.
