The ideal candidate is passionate about patient care, works well in a collaborative environment, and is willing to contribute both clinically and administratively to help ensure the smooth operation of the practice. Responsibilities Perform dental cleanings, periodontal therapy, and preventive procedures Take digital X-rays and maintain accurate patient records Educate patients on oral hygiene and preventative care Assist the dentist during examinations as needed Monitor patient comfort and provide exceptional patient care Maintain sterilization and infection control protocols in compliance with OSHA and CDC guidelines Work collaboratively with the dental team to create a positive patient experience Be a strong team player and assist coworkers when needed During downtime, support the front desk and administrative team with tasks such as: Scheduling appointments Confirming patient visits Answering phones. Qualifications Active Registered Dental Hygienist license CPR certification Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment Positive attitude and willingness to help wherever needed Experience with open -dental software is a plus What We're Looking For We value someone who is not only clinically skilled but also dependable, flexible, and eager to contribute to the success of the entire office. Full time Monday 8:30-6pm Tuesdays 10-5pm Wednesday 10-4pm Thursday 8:30-6pm 2 Saturdays a month 9-2pm summers 1 Saturday a month Salary open to discuss based on pediatric experience No Medicaid taken this is a PPO office , Hygienist take their own X-rays and turn over rooms 30 mins for recares 40 for NP Employee Benefits Paid holidays 40 hours of paid time off (PTO) annually Paid vacation: 1 week after 1 year of employment , 2 weeks after 3 years of employment 401(k) with employer match: Eligible after 3 months of employment , Immediately vested Health insurance: Employer pays 50% of the premium Continuing Education (CE) reimbursement: Up to $500 annually Scrub reimbursement: Up to $120 annually Monthly office bonus system based on collection
