Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Therapist to join our early intervention team supporting infants and toddlers (ages 0-3) with developmental delays and disabilities. The ideal candidate is passionate about working with young children and their families in natural environments such as homes, daycare settings, and community locations. This role focuses on building strong relationships with families and caregivers while delivering individualized, developmentally appropriate interventions that promote growth in communication, motor skills, behavior, and daily routines. The Therapist will collaborate closely with other providers and service coordinators to support outcomes outlined in each child's Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP) . Responsibilities Provide family-centered, early intervention services in natural environments (home, daycare, community settings) Develop and implement individualized intervention strategies aligned with IFSP outcomes and family priorities Use coaching strategies to support caregivers in embedding therapy techniques into daily routines Deliver therapy services (speech, occupational, physical, developmental, or behavioral) to promote: Communication skills Social-emotional development Motor development Adaptive and play skills Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with state early intervention (First Steps) requirements Collaborate with families, service coordinators, and a multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated care Monitor child progress and adjust intervention strategies as needed Support transitions (e.g., from early intervention to preschool services) Provide education and resources to families to empower them as active participants in their child's development Preferred Experience Early intervention or First Steps program experience Experience working with children with: Autism spectrum disorder Developmental delays Speech and language challenges
Pay:
$25.00 - $48.00 per hour
