Pediatric in-home Registered Nurse

Rate:

$50.00/hr. Essential Job Duties Provide direct care to child at home according to the active plan of care, as given by the physician and other appropriate personnel. Administer prescribed medications, treatments, and therapies as ordered by the physician. Document timely clear, concise, and accurate clinical notes in accordance with the plan of care using agency EMR system RN PAD Notify the RN Case Manager promptly of any changes in the patient's condition. Be prepared to respond to medical emergencies and provide appropriate interventions as necessary. Qualifications Graduate of an approved RN program Minimum 2 years of pediatric nursing experience in acute/critical care setting. Home care/pediatric home care experience preferred. Certifications/Licenses Current CPR Certification Valid NYS RN License Skills & Abilities Strong organizational, writing, and communication skills Basic knowledge of vents, trachs, oxygen, feeding tubes, urinary catheters, ostomies Understanding of pediatric disease processes and medication interactions Ability to work with clients of all ages and backgrounds Physical Requirements & Work Environment Reliable transportation required Ability to lift over 20 lbs, move and carry medical equipment Work in patients home environment Why Join Us?
