This role focuses on delivering high-quality, individualized care to support each child's physical and developmental needs. Essential Job Responsibilities Under the supervision of Madison Gwizdalski, responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Provide pediatric physical therapy services in an accurate, timely, and effective manner Deliver individualized treatment plans using appropriate therapy techniques and evidence-based protocols Conduct comprehensive evaluations across all areas of physical therapy using appropriate clinical tools Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines and pediatric physical therapy practice standards Maintain detailed, accurate, and timely clinical documentation, including: Evaluations and re-evaluations Progress reports Discharge summaries Daily treatment notes Provide ongoing therapy services, including caregiver education and home exercise programs Communicate patient progress, challenges, and goals clearly with families and through written documentation Demonstrate cultural sensitivity and adaptability when working with diverse populations Build and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues to support a collaborative team environment Participate in community outreach and marketing initiatives Maintain professional knowledge through continuing education, professional networks, and industry resources Attend and actively participate in team meetings, supervision, and mentorship sessions Adhere to all safety, ethical, privacy, and confidentiality standards Perform additional duties as assigned as part of regular job responsibilities Stay current with federal, state, and local regulations and certification requirements Required Qualifications Knowledge of pediatric physical and developmental needs across relevant age groups Graduate of a program approved by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) Current license from the State Board of Physical Therapy Examiners Minimum of 1 year of pediatric experience preferred Comfortable working in home, school, clinic, and community-based settings Strong interpersonal, communication, and documentation skills Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Ability to effectively communicate instructions to patients and collaborate with caregivers and care teams Successful completion of background check and all required clearances Physical Requirements Ability to exert up to 10 pounds of force and lift/move up to 25 pounds Ability to perform physical activities including sitting, kneeling, squatting, running, twisting, turning, and frequent transitions during therapy sessions Additional Information This job description is not intended to be an exhaustive list of all duties, responsibilities, or activities.
