Key Responsibilities Provide skilled one-on-one private duty nursing care for an infant in the home Perform infant tracheostomy care, suctioning, and airway management Manage and monitor ventilator-dependent infant patients Administer medications, treatments, and enteral feedings as ordered Conduct ongoing infant-focused nursing assessments and monitor for subtle changes in condition Respond promptly to respiratory or medical emergencies Educate parents and caregivers on daily care routines, safety, and equipment use Maintain accurate and timely documentation per Florida home health regulations Communicate changes in patient status to physicians and agency leadership Follow strict infection control, safety, and emergency protocols Requirements Active, unencumbered Florida RN license Infant tracheostomy and ventilator experience

REQUIRED

Minimum 1 year of pediatric nursing experience (infant experience strongly preferred) Strong knowledge of infant respiratory equipment and emergency airway management Current CPR/BLS ( PALS strongly preferred ) Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Ability to pass background screening and health requirements This role is not suitable for nurses without infant trach and vent experience.
