Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity serving local schools as a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist, providing essential support to students and educational teams. This full-time role offers maternity leave coverage and allows you to work within the vibrant community near Inman and Campobello, SC, where your skills will make a lasting impact. Compensation for this position ranges from $40 to $50 per hour, reflecting your dedication and expertise.
Qualifications and Preferred Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) or completed Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) Experience in pediatric, educational, or healthcare settings Strong knowledge in IEP development and implementation Excellent communication and organizational abilities Comfortable collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams within school environments
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct and consultative speech-language therapy services to students across a variety of ages and needs Conduct comprehensive assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and support IEP documentation Participate in meetings and collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals Monitor student progress and adjust strategies to maximize outcomes Maintain accurate records in compliance with school and district policies Experience the fulfillment of supporting young learners as they reach their communication goals in an engaging, supportive school setting.
