Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding opportunity to make a difference as a Speech-Language Pathologist for the 2026-2027 school year! Work onsite in a supportive environment, collaborating with educators and families to help K-12 students build communication skills for lifelong success. This contract role runs from September 2, 2026, through June 25, 2027, offering full-time hours Monday through Friday, 7:40am to 3:05pm. The majority of your caseload is elementary and middle school students, with a small group of high schoolers.
Desired Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders Active state licensure or eligibility by start date Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates welcome Experience supporting pediatric populations in educational settings Strong collaboration and communication skills Familiarity with IEP development, progress monitoring, and data documentation
Role Responsibilities:
Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders Develop and implement individualized therapy plans for diverse learners Maintain accurate documentation and participate in IEP meetings Consult and collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams Provide direct and indirect therapy services onsite Support student engagement and progress toward IEP goals Serve as a resource on communication disorders to school staff Enjoy the chance to nurture student growth in a vibrant school community, working closely with about 40 students, mostly in kindergarten through eighth grade.
