Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity providing speech-language pathology services at the elementary level for a maternity leave coverage stretching from the beginning of the school year through winter break. Work with a close-knit community of about 60 students, utilizing your expertise to make a real difference in a supportive educational setting. Your background in pediatric, school-based, or teletherapy speech-language pathology will set you up for success, whether you are a seasoned professional or completing your clinical fellowship year (CFY). Varied caseloads and individualized student needs will provide meaningful challenges and professional growth.
Qualifications and Experience:
Current or eligible license as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligible CFY candidates encouraged Prior experience in school or pediatric SLP settings preferred Familiarity with teletherapy platforms is a plus Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills

Deliver direct speech and language therapy to elementary students Conduct assessments, evaluations, and individualized education plan (IEP) meetings Write clear, comprehensive reports and progress notes Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to support student outcomes Utilize effective teletherapy strategies as needed Imagine contributing your talents each day to a vibrant elementary school while building valuable experience in a supportive, collaborative environment.
