Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a difference in the lives of young learners as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist working with a dynamic PreK caseload in a supportive elementary school environment. This rewarding opportunity offers the chance to enhance communication skills for students while collaborating with dedicated educators and support staff.
Key qualifications and experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders Valid licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in California Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates encouraged to apply Experience in school-based settings and with pediatric populations highly preferred Familiarity with teletherapy platforms a plus Strong interpersonal, communication, and organization skills
Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine student speech and language needs Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with IEP team members Provide direct and consultative therapy services to PreK students, in-person and/or via teletherapy as appropriate Maintain clear and timely documentation of student progress and therapy sessions Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and school support staff to maximize student success Participate in school meetings and professional development as required This contract position offers competitive hourly compensation—ranging from $48 to $60 per hour based on experience—and the flexibility to manage a focused caseload in a welcoming educational setting. You'll have the chance to employ a broad set of SLP skills, from CFY to experienced practitioner, and play a critical role during formative years.
