Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity working with students as a Speech-Language Pathologist. Serve a diverse school population by delivering essential speech and language services tailored to each child's unique needs. Your expertise will foster communication growth and help elementary through high-school learners achieve academic and social success.
Qualifications and Skills:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology required Active state licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates encouraged to apply Experience in school-based settings highly regarded Pediatric and healthcare SLP background a plus Comfortable delivering in-person and/or teletherapy services Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
Primary Responsibilities:
Perform evaluations and develop individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with speech, language, or communication disorders Provide direct therapy sessions, both in-person and via telepractice as appropriate Collaborate with teachers, families, and other specialists to support student achievement Maintain clear, accurate progress records and documentation in compliance with school and state requirements Offer consultative services and training to school staff and parents Participate actively in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team planning This contract role offers flexibility within a welcoming school environment near Swisshome, Oregon.
