Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding school-based Speech-Language Pathologist opportunity where your expertise transforms young learners' lives. In this contract role, you'll work primarily with a PreK caseload within a supportive and collaborative school setting near Glendale, CA. Utilize your pediatric, teletherapy, and clinical fellowship (CFY) skills to help students overcome communication challenges and reach their full potential. The position offers pay between $48 and $60 per hour, depending on experience.
Desired Experience & Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Active California SLP license (required) Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligibility for CFY Previous experience working in school, pediatric, or teletherapy settings preferred Strong collaborative approach and effective communication skills
Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and deliver evidence-based therapy to PreK students Work closely with educators and families to design effective interventions Document progress and maintain accurate records in line with school and district guidelines Participate in IEP meetings, providing input for student goals and service recommendations Utilize teletherapy platforms if needed for remote service delivery Foster a positive, inclusive learning environment
