Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact supporting students' communication and learning by providing speech-language pathology services within a supportive school setting. This contract opportunity centers on fostering children's growth—whether onsite or through teletherapy—using your expertise to empower young learners to express themselves fully and achieve their educational goals. The ideal clinician is someone passionate about working in pediatric settings, adaptable to both in-person and virtual environments, and eager to collaborate with colleagues and families.
Desired Skills and Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Valid state licensure or eligibility as an SLP Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or strong new graduates in Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) considered Experience in school-based or pediatric speech therapy preferred Strong understanding of IEP development and participation in student support teams Comfort and proficiency with teletherapy tools and platforms, or willingness to learn Excellent communication, organization, and documentation skills
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and deliver therapy for students with speech and language needs Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student success and implement IEP goals Maintain accurate records and progress notes consistent with school policies Participate in eligibility meetings and case conferences for students Adapt and deliver services via telepractice as required by site needs Imagine crafting individualized sessions that spark confidence and celebrate progress, all while enjoying the energy and fulfillment of a school-focused practice.
