Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity working as a Speech-Language Pathologist for the 2026-2027 school year, in a vibrant educational community near Waseca, MN. This full-time position runs from late August through May, offering an enriching environment to make an impact on students' communication skills and overall academic experience. Ideal candidates will thrive working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, enjoy adapting to diverse caseloads, and possess a passion for supporting students from various backgrounds. Those who are Clinical Fellows or seeking their Clinical Fellowship Year are encouraged to apply, as are seasoned professionals with school-based and teletherapy experience.
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Valid state licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist Experience or interest in school-based settings Familiarity with pediatric populations (preferred) Background in teletherapy a plus Open to CFY candidates Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
Responsibilities:
Deliver speech and language therapy services to students in preschool through high school Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other support personnel Provide direct and consultative services in-person and/or via teletherapy as needed Maintain accurate records in compliance with school and state requirements Participate in IEP meetings and related documentation Support students' communication goals to enhance participation in the classroom Step into a role that offers not only professional growth but also the satisfaction of helping students achieve their fullest potential.
