Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a difference this school year in a supportive educational setting near Maple Grove, MN! A contract opportunity is available for a talented Speech-Language Pathologist ready to work with a dynamic caseload and collaborate within a nurturing school environment. The assignment spans from late August 2026 to early June 2027, offering the chance to engage, inspire, and empower students primarily in middle or high school.
Key Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Current or pending SLP-CCC or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) Comfortable managing a school-based pediatric caseload, especially with adolescents Valid state licensure for speech therapy practice (or ability to obtain prior to start date) Flexible, positive approach for working with a range of student needs and backgrounds Strong communication skills for collaborating with educators, families, and staff
Key Responsibilities:
Provide speech, language, and communication assessments and direct therapy to approximately 55 students, with most cases involving middle and high schoolers Develop and implement individualized plans (IEPs) tailored to students' unique goals and abilities Document progress, maintain accurate records, and contribute to IEP meetings and team discussions Partner with teachers, parents, and administrators to create an inclusive educational experience Support and advise students on communication techniques and strategies, both individually and in small group settings Enjoy the advantages of contract work with a set schedule of 37.5 hours per week, giving you consistency throughout the academic year.
