Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make an immediate impact in a supportive educational environment as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist working with students in a school-based setting near Belvidere, IL. Contribute your expertise in pediatric communication development while collaborating with dedicated educational teams and families. This is an excellent opportunity to gain school-based experience or build upon your credentials, whether you have your CFY or CCC—support newly graduated SLPs are encouraged to apply.
Qualifications & Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Active or eligible state licensure for SLP practice Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates and CCC-SLPs welcome Experience in schools or pediatric settings preferred Strong ability to assess, diagnose, and treat speech and language disorders Collaborative, compassionate approach with students, families, and staff Comfortable with IEP process, documentation, and progress monitoring
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct and consultative speech-language therapy to students in accordance with IEPs Conduct comprehensive evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans Maintain accurate and timely documentation Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate on student progress and goals Support classroom staff with strategies and resources to facilitate student communication Engage in ongoing professional development relevant to the school environment This contract position provides the flexibility and support you need to focus on student success.
