Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding role serving students district-wide as a full-time, onsite Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) near Mapleton, ME. This contract position offers the chance to work closely with a diverse range of pediatric students, from early learners to older children, making a tangible difference in their communication skills and confidence.
Desired Experience and Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Valid state SLP licensure (or eligibility to obtain) Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, but Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates are welcome Experience or strong interest in the pediatric and school-based setting Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, teachers, and families Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct speech-language therapy services to students across multiple campuses within the district Conduct comprehensive evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans and IEP goals based on student needs Maintain accurate, timely records and progress notes in alignment with school and legal requirements Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with educators, specialists, and families to support student achievement Deliver both one-on-one and small-group therapy sessions, using evidence-based practices Assist in screening, prevention, and early intervention activities district-wide This is your opportunity to play a vital part in helping students thrive academically and socially through improved communication skills.
