Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) opportunity is available for the 2026-2027 school year, working with K-8th grade students in Ovalo, TX. This contract position offers the chance to make a meaningful impact on a diverse caseload estimated at 50 students.
Key responsibilities include:
Conducting speech and language evaluations and assessments for K-8 students Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans Collaborating with educators and families to support student communication goals Maintaining accurate documentation and progress notes Participating in team meetings and professional development opportunities Qualifications and desired experience: Valid SLP licensure with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC), Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) completion, or SLPA certification for school settings Experience working with pediatric populations in educational environments Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to manage a caseload of approximately 50 students Commitment to supporting student success and individualized care
