Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a dynamic role providing speech-language services to students for the upcoming 26/27 school year, with the academic year starting after Labor Day. This contract opportunity is ideal for a passionate professional ready to support children's communication growth in an engaging educational environment. Leverage your expertise as you supervise two SLPAs and conduct comprehensive evaluations, ensuring students receive the targeted support they need. This position offers the chance to make meaningful connections and influence young learners' development while working collaboratively with fellow education professionals.
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Valid state licensure as an SLP Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) or eligible Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidate Experience working with pediatric populations, particularly in school settings Strong assessment, diagnostic, and supervisory skills Previous experience overseeing SLPAs preferred
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct evaluations to determine students' speech, language, and communication needs Develop, implement, and monitor individualized therapy plans Supervise and mentor two Speech-Language Pathology Assistants, providing guidance and support Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress Document services, track outcomes, and maintain compliance with school and state requirements This contract position provides the opportunity to expand your leadership skills while making a positive impact on students' lives.
