Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a dynamic, contract-based opportunity as a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist for the 2026-2027 academic year, located near Odessa, DE. This full-time position invites both experienced SLP-CCCs and Clinical Fellows (CFY) to make a positive impact in a supportive educational environment, working directly with pediatric and school-aged populations.
Key Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communication Disorders Possession of (or ability to obtain) a license to practice as an SLP in the state SLP-CCC credentials, recent graduates/CFY candidates are welcome Experience or strong interest in working within pediatric and school-based settings Solid healthcare knowledge related to speech and language disorders
Role Responsibilities:
Provide assessment, diagnosis, and therapy for students presenting with a variety of speech, language, and communication needs Collaborate with teachers, families, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) Maintain accurate and timely documentation to ensure compliance with all regulatory and district requirements Deliver engaging, evidence-based intervention sessions for diverse student populations Support communication goals in classroom and school environments, offering ongoing consultation and advocacy
