Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity serving young learners for the 2026-2027 school year as a Speech Language Pathologist. This position focuses on supporting a caseload of approximately 40-45 elementary-age students, primarily working with inclusion students alongside some with more complex needs. You'll work in collaboration with a dedicated on-site SLP, who will take on most of the complex caseload, ensuring a balanced distribution of responsibilities. Ideal candidates will bring specialized knowledge and a commitment to fostering communication skills in children within a school setting.
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Valid SLP license or eligibility in Delaware CCC-SLP credentials or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status Experience in educational/healthcare/pediatric environments preferred Strong collaboration skills with teachers, staff, and other SLPs Commitment to inclusive educational practices
Responsibilities:
Provide direct therapy and support to elementary-aged students in individual and group settings Complete comprehensive evaluations and progress reports Develop and implement IEPs in partnership with multidisciplinary teams Maintain thorough documentation according to school and state requirements Communicate effectively with families, teachers, and staff Participate in meetings, trainings, and ongoing professional development
